Starting as just voluntary work once a week, I have worked within a team of 5 people to mix and record a number of shows, inlcluding sports week, team talk and many others. It has been my role throughout to set up the equipment needed for each show, this includes lapel microphones and receiver packs, in ear monitors, as well as the ensuring that the speakers and desk is set up properly within the recording studio. It is also my job to work with the lead producer to ensure and maintain good levels for each of the packages and the vocals within each show. Following my success as a volunteer on Notts TV i was offered paid employment as a freelance engineer on Nott's Tonight, a more established ran show included on Notts TV and ran live rather than pre-recorded like the shows that i have previously worked on.
